Marketing major Micaela Correa found her confidence in her first internship, then launched a marketing business and landed her first client. She also co-founded Menlo’s Opportunity Club so more Oaks can explore career paths.

The Winter Athletics Pep Rally brought the energy! Oaks packed Haynes-Prim to cheer on men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling ahead of their seasons. The wrestling teams squared off in a tug-of-war, the basketball squads put on a dunk contest, a round of knockout, and a 3-point contest; and students joined in on mini games for prizes and giveaways.

We’ll see you at the next home game! 🏀🤼

While OAKtoberFest brought the energy to campus on Saturday, we also welcomed prospective students and their families for our Fall Open House!

Prospective Oaks explored campus, connected with faculty and current students at the club and resource fair, and learned more about academics and student life through information sessions. It was a great opportunity to experience the people and community that make Menlo special.

Friday night, we inducted the 2026 Menlo College Athletics Hall of Fame class during OAKtoberFest weekend.

Ricky Aguirre ‘04 and Eddie Lucatero ‘04 were part of the early Menlo Wrestling teams that finished fourth and second nationally in the program’s second and third seasons. Carla O’Connell ‘09 (Carla Esparza) is a two-time UFC world champion, and Ryanne Bergstrom ‘09 and Kelci Fushikoshi ‘09 held Menlo’s career records in women’s soccer points and women’s basketball three-pointers. President Steven Weiner was also inducted as a surprise sixth member, recognizing his decade of work leading Menlo Athletics into NCAA Division II.

Congratulations to all six, and thank you to the families, coaches, and teammates who came to celebrate with them. 🏆

Our Community Advisors brought students together for the Chopped Challenge, where teams put their creativity and cooking skills to the test with mystery ingredients and limited time.
