This past summer, Juliette Chabrier put her International Business education to work as an intern with Coldwell Banker Paris in the city’s luxury real estate market. 🇫🇷🚀

Originally from France, Juliette came to Menlo College to study International Business in Silicon Valley. After completing her first three years at Menlo, she returned home for nearly three months, where she assisted with property valuations, administrative follow-up, property listings, and preparing apartments for client visits.

Working with an international clientele also taught Juliette the importance of discretion, careful listening, attention to detail, and building relationships based on trust.

“Selling the Parisian dream takes more than a beautiful property. I learned that the real work is in the details, relationships, and trust behind it,” Juliette said.

Returning to France allowed her to apply three years of education and experience in Silicon Valley to a professional environment serving clients from around the world. Now back at Menlo for her final year, Juliette plans to complete her International Business degree while working toward her California real estate license.

Her goal is to combine her roots in France, education in Silicon Valley, and experience in Paris to pursue a career in California’s luxury real estate market. That’s Future Ready Now in action. 🎓🚀

We’re lucky to call Tiffany Tran, Associate Registrar, part of the Menlo family. 🌟

Since 2019, she’s helped transfer students make every credit count, turning transcripts into what she calls puzzle-solving with diplomas at the end. She’s experienced Menlo from both sides too, working full-time in our Registrar’s Office while earning her MSIS as a grad student, with plenty of support from her professors, leadership team, and the Dean along the way.

This past summer, Ananyaa Vengurlekar ’27 put her skills to work as an Analyst Intern at TechEquity AI. 🚀

In her role, Ananyaa gathered, cleaned, and analyzed complex datasets to uncover meaningful trends and built dynamic dashboards using Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets. Her work helped turn technical data into accessible insights that project managers could use to make informed decisions.

Getting there also taught her an important lesson about the internship search: “You can't be afraid of rejection, it is just a part of the process.” Through her work with Menlo’s Internship and Career Services office, Ananyaa gained firsthand insight into the internship search process while building the professional confidence to bounce back from the “no’s,” refine her approach, and secure this opportunity.

It’s a great example of what Future Ready Now looks like: connecting learning, resources, and real-world experience to build momentum toward what comes next.

31 clubs set up shop today for our Club and Community Fair, and it's safe to say Oaks showed up. Good conversations, new sign-ups, and a reminder of just how much is happening on this campus outside the classroom.

Our campus store just became Menlo Mercantile, and it now has its very own coffee bar. This week’s Mic’d Up Monday, we asked Oaks to name their go-to drink, from the Early Bird to the Atherton Gold to the 94027 spice brown sugar latte.

What’s your favorite Menlo Mercantile drink? ☕️

Meet two Oaks who turned their Menlo education into hands-on experience at Northwestern Mutual: Jessica Oseguera Santoyo '27 and Andrue Perkins '28.

As an Entrepreneurship major, Jessica assumed her internship options would start and end with startups. Northwestern Mutual proved otherwise. She built her own client base, managed her own schedule, and helped build flexible financial plans for clients with different personal and professional goals, all while sharpening the critical thinking skills that come with being a bridge between where people are and where they want to be.

Andrue credited Menlo's small class sizes and supportive professors with giving him the confidence to step into a professional environment from day one. At Northwestern Mutual, he ran client meetings, led financial fact-finding conversations, and learned the fundamentals of risk management and insurance, building real professional relationships along the way.

As Jessica put it, "Investing in yourself, by using campus resources and seeking guidance, is the biggest motivator to grow both personally and professionally at Menlo."

We're proud to see our Oaks put Menlo's business foundation to work in Silicon Valley's backyard!
