Georgia Central University (GCU) is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, and we are so grateful to the Lord for those 30 years of existence.
At first, GCU began as the Immanuel Original Bible Institute in Alabama in 1993. In 1995, the institute moved to Alpharetta, Georgia, with a new name, Georgia School of Theology.
In 2002, the Georgia School of Theology was certified by the USCIS to begin issuing an application for I-20 student visas. The same year, the Georgia School of Theology and Georgia Christian Univesity was divided into two separate institutions: a religiously exempt School and an authorized University.
In 2011, GCU acquired and moved to a new campus site at 6789 Peach Industrial Blvd., Atlanta, GA, to facilitate growing demands and needs for an educational environment.
GUC is a fully accredited institution by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). It has been approved by the US Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education (CHEA).
We are also celebrating its 30th Commencement Service, the Class of 2023. We cordially invite the family of graduates, present students, and alums to this beautiful occasion.

조지아 센추럴 대학은 설립 30주년을 맞았습니다. 그래서 다체로운 행사를 준비하고 진행하고 있습니다. 그 중 오는 5월에 30회 졸업식 및 학위 수여식을 계획하고 있습니다. 지난 30년을 지켜주신 하나님께 먼저 영광과 존귀함을 올려드립니다.
본 대학은 1993년에 임마누엘 성경 대학으로 앨러배마에서 시작했고, 1995에 조지아주 알파레타 (Alpharetta)시로 옮겨 Georgia School of Theology로 변경했습니다. 그리고 조지아주에서 종교 특례 대학으로 비영리 단체로 인준받았습니다.
2011년에 현재 위하고 있는 본교로 이주해서 교육 선교사역을 계속 진행해 왔습니다. GCU는 같은해 미연방정부 학비 보조 프로그램 (Federal Student Aids) 수혜 대학으로 지정되어 영주건및 미국 시민권 학생들이 학비보조와 융자 혜택을 승인받았습니다.
GCU는 ATS의 정회원으로 재 인가받았을 뿐 아니라. 2023년 2월 중순에 ABHE Candidacy로 인가받은 학교입니다.
본교가 30주년을 맞는 가운데 여러가지 행사가 있지만, 그 중에서도 내달, 5월에 30회 졸업식이 계획됐습니다. 졸업생 가족을 비롯해서 재학생 그리고 동문 여러분들을 정중히 초대합니다 (장소와 시간은 윗부분을 참조하십시오.)
