Our last Friday introduction of the semester goes to our director, Adrienne!

Adrienne (she/hers) has worked in Emory Campus Life for over six years now and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years of experience in Social Services. While at Emory, she has participated and facilitated several Care committees and enjoys collaborating with campus partners. She is an alumnus of Auburn University in Alabama and earned a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She has a passion for higher education, promoting mental health support, and healthy self-care practices. Adrienne’s interests include personal and professional development, fitness, anxiety, and mood disorders. She utilizes a strengths-based perspective and believes in working collaboratively with students to help them move towards their goals. Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys spending time with family, festivals in the city and trying new restaurants.

Happy Wednesday!!

We are celebrating being halfway through the week by sharing another case manager introduction!

Krystal Hodge (she/her) entered into the field of social services to be a part of witnessing individuals transform their challenges into their testimony. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 8-year-old Morkie (half Maltese, half Yorkie). Working out, traveling, and binge-watching shows on Hulu and Netflix are among some of her favorite things to do. She’s happy to be at Emory and looks forward to meeting you!

Next up on our case management team introductions is Katie!

Katie (she/hers) joined the Emory SCMIS team in fall of 2020. Katie completed her undergrad at Auburn University and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Katie strongly believes in mental wellness and healthy boundaries, and loves spending her free time with her family and pups. Katie is always looking for good book recommendations, enjoys photography, is obsessed with houseplants, and loves to cook (and eat!).

Our next case manager introduction goes to Elaine!

Elaine (she/her) is a proud Emory '16 and Boston College alumna (MA in Higher Education Administration). Fun fact - both school's mascots are the Eagles! Before joining SCMIS, she spent years working in health promotion and has a public health approach to student well-being. She is a board-certified health coach and in her free time you can find her exploring Atlanta's food & drink scene, kickboxing, and consuming all the media (tv, books, music, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your summer break!

Up first: Amanda! ✨

Amanda (she/hers) attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned both her Bachelor and Master in Social Work. She has lived in Atlanta since 2013 and cannot imagine returning to the cold North. Outside of her work supporting students, Amanda enjoys hiking, baking, and teaching her puppy new tricks.
