📣✨ONE WEEK AWAY✨📣
📽: Exciting news! The Global Media Fest (GMF) is just around the corner, and the French department of the School of Modern Languages is thrilled to present the award-winning 2021 documentary film "Making Pandemics" (La Fabrique des pandémies) as part of the festival's screening lineup. Join us on Sunday, April 23, at 2:00 pm at the GT John Lewis Student Center for a thought-provoking exploration of why preserving biodiversity is crucial to safeguarding our health.
This powerful film delves into the urgent matter of how human activity and the destruction of our natural environment are contributing to the emergence of deadly pandemics. Following the screening, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the director and several of the featured scientists*, who will offer insights and perspectives on the critical issues raised in the film.
Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn more about the interconnectedness of our world and how we can work together to create a healthier, more sustainable future. See you at GMF!
