Bill Douglas sent this picture in of his 1983 Hawaiian Party homemade bamboo cup. I arrived in 1989 and this was, unfortunately, not a thing.

Thank you Mark Oreszko for sharing this. From Mark, "This video which takes us back to about 1989. This documentary chronicles a band called The Surf. They played at the ATO house every year and got pretty big in the southeastern college area. In this video pretty much all the outdoor scenes are from the ATO house. Fast forward to about the 9 minute mark to see some of the structure we built (including a pool) for the annual Hawaiian Party."

Remember Hawaiian Party?
