Here's our monthly review of some of the events we had this past October! We had amazing guests from Cryolife, Reina Betancourt, Emily McClune, and Travis present about the work culture that drives their company. For our research spotlight, Dr. Takayama gave an exciting and informational talk about microfluidics and regenerative engineering. For those interested, Dr. Takayama promoted one of GT's fantastic research abroad opportunities, the Nakatani Research and International Experience Fellowship (More information on one of the photos posted below). On the volunteering side of things, a handful of BMES members helped out with pumpkin decorating and breakfast service at the Scottish Rite Children's hospital. Be sure to keep an eye out next month for another round of great opportunities! Have a happy and safe Halloween!
