The pause was intentional. 💜

Mu Sigma Kappa was founded in 2024 to create sisterhood rooted in love, support, and service—without the barriers so many women face: expensive dues, long initiation processes, or the need for a college pathway.

Over the past year, we’ve been building quietly… planting seeds, shaping our mission, and listening to what women truly need right now:
a circle of care, not competition.
belonging without conditions.
community you don’t have to earn.

We deeply honor the legacy of Divine Nine sisterhoods and all organizations that paved the way for Black women in leadership and service.

Mu Sigma Kappa is not a comparison or alternative—it is an extension of access for women who may not have had that path.

2024 was our year of roots. 🌿
2025 is our year of community. 💜
