Thanks to a 60-55 win, Boeheim's Army is off to Atlanta for the Sweet 16 of The Basketball Tournament! Boeheim's Army, the No. 1 seed in the Northeast Regional, advances into this weekend's Super 16, held at the Georgia State University Sports Arena. Boeheim's Army will play Armored Athlete at 1 p.m. Saturday, and the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta needs YOUR help turning the gym into a pro-SU crowd! Come out and cheer on these former Syracuse Orange standouts. The winner will advance to Sunday's quarterfinal, also in Atlanta.

The Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta invites you to attend our New Student Send-Off event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 19 at Hudson Grille-Brookhaven as we welcome the members of the Class of 2022 to SU! Meet new students and their parents from Atlanta and answer their questions as they prepare to embark on their ’Cuse career.

Dress is casual (wear Orange!), and attendees will enjoy refreshments. Please email your RSVP to Allison Mitchell '08, G'09 ([email protected]) by July 13.

Taye Diggs '93 is always giving back to his alma mater! He recently participated in a meet-and-greet with Atlanta-area alumni, hosted at the home of SU Trustee Kathy Walters ’73 and Stan Walters ’72. Diggs posed for photos and signed copies of his two children’s books, Mixed Me! and Chocolate Me!, for event attendees. Check out this photo gallery and feel free to tag yourself in these photos! It's finally here: game day! Tonight's the night as the Syracuse men's basketball team looks to keep its season going in the Sweet 16 vs. Duke.

Atlanta alumni and friends of SU are invited to join Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta at one of TWO game watch sites: The Brass Tap (4505 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. NE Ste 32) and Hudson Grille Midtown (942 Peachtree St. NW) as we cheer on the Orange to victory. Tip-off is set for 9:37 p.m. EDT, so be sure to arrive early and wear your best Orange. We'll see you there!

We're holding a membership drive for our Atlanta alumni club, and we're seeking interested alumni to serve on one of our club’s committees. Find out how you can get involved with our club during a meet-and-greet at 3 p.m. Saturday at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games (1255 Roswell Rd.) in Marietta. After the meeting, we can get on the race track, play games, and have fun with fellow Atlanta alumni during our family-friendly event. Mingle with fellow Orange alumni and enjoy great food and drinks (cash bar) at our holiday celebration.
