"Victims’ rights and women’s rights groups sued Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on Thursday, saying that rules that she issued last year to guide campuses on how to manage sexual assault complaints violated federal law and discriminated against accusers."

Three organizations filed a complaint outlining ways that new sexual assault guidelines had had a “chilling effect” on campus sexual assault investigations.

Last week we took our undergrad research assistants to lobby at the Capitol. Unfortunately, many harmful bills passed the house, but I truly couldn't be more proud of them! They went toe to toe with their local lawmakers and stood up for what they believe. Next week, we'll pick up where we left off and continue advocating for student rights and safety in the Senate!
