Dear Phi Gamma Delta Graduate Brothers,
I hope this finds you well. For those that don't know me, my name is Blake Batley – UGA '93 – Zeta Triton pledge class of the Kappa Deuteron chapter for Phi Gamma Delta. I'm writing because I am a founding member and the current President of the Georgia Chapter for Folds of Honor.
As we commemorate Memorial Day and reflect upon the sacrifices made by our brave military service men and women, I wanted to reach out and bring your attention to the important mission of Folds of Honor in Georgia.
Folds of Honor is a remarkable nonprofit organization with a mission close to our hearts. They strive to provide educational scholarships to the children of our fallen military heroes, ensuring that their legacy lives on through the power of education. The Georgia chapter was established in 2020 to specifically address the scholarship needs of families in our great state who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Georgia holds the distinction of ranking 3rd in the entire United States for scholarship needs within Folds of Honor. More than 400 families received scholarships in the 2022-2023 academic season alone, an amount of over $2 Million Dollars in support. However, the need in our state continues to grow, and I am asking you to consider supporting Folds of Honor Georgia in your future philanthropic activities.
Folds of Honor's slogan, "Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy," captures the essence of their mission. By supporting this organization, we can make a tangible impact on the lives of these brave children, ensuring they receive the education they deserve while honoring the memory of their fallen parents.
