We are the collective voice of student pharmacists. We provide opportunities for professional growth The organization is an umbrella corporation of sorts.

Founded October 6, 1852, the American Pharmaceutical Association (Now the American Pharmacists Association) holds membership to more than 62,000 pharmacists nationwide. Virtually all specialized pharmacy associations can be traced back to APhA. The national headquarters is quite historic. It is located between the Lincoln Memorial and the U.S. Department of State. Needless to say, the APhA is a st

rong advocate for the pharmacy profession. The Academy of Student Pharmacists is a subgroup containing all Pharmacy Students (and future Pharmacy Students) who want to participate in such a prestigious organization with the sole goal of advancing the pharmacy profession.

Yesterday our Operation Heart Chair held a service learning event at Kroger. From left to right, Marlena Young (P3), Eyerusalem Haile (P3), Najira Maric, Pharm.D., Avinash Sukhu (P3), and Yidan Kong (P1), were able to assist with blood pressure screenings and giving vaccinations!
