First up is SRIJON SARKAR (সৃজন), one of our incredible Senior Advisors! 🧠 Hailing from Kolkata, India 🇮🇳, Srijon stays busy with gymming 💪🏽, constrained writing ✍️, climbing trees 🌳, feasting on sweets 🧋, trail hikes 🥾, and reading biographical pieces 📚. His favorite snack & drink combo? Piyaji & cha ☕️🫓. Movie/AUX track pick? 3 Idiots and Atrangi Yaari 🎶✨. Hot take? “Potato DEFINITELY goes in biryani!” 🥔🍛. His favorite ICA memory was sophomore year Holi 🌈, and this year he’s most looking forward to one final retreat with the crew! WELCOME SRIJON 🙌🏽

Next up is TANISHA CHHEDA (તનીશા), another one of our dedicated Senior Advisors! 🌊 Coming straight from Bombay 🇮🇳, Tanisha loves swimming 🏊🏽‍♀️, traveling ✈️, running 🏃🏽‍♀️, pilates 🧘🏽‍♀️, scuba diving 🤿, and documenting life’s moments 📸. Her ultimate comfort pairing? Sev puri and corn on the cob with chai on a rainy day ☔️☕️. Favorite tracks/artists? Anything Anuv Jain or Arijit Singh, with a special place for Arz Kiya Hai, Gul, and Tum Se Hi 🎵 (plus Jab We Met on repeat!). Hot take? “Flaming Hot Cheetos with cream cheese is the BEST food combo” 🧀🔥. Her favorite memory was planning Holi and Diwali and finding lifelong friends along the way 💖, and she’s ready for a bittersweet, unforgettable senior year doing all her ICA firsts one last time! WELCOME TANISHA 🙌🏽✨

Then we have ANEESHA JOBI (അനീഷ), bringing all the senior advisor energy! 🚗 Hailing from San Jose, CA and Thrissur, Kerala 🇮🇳, Aneesha is all about driving 🏎️, dancing 💃🏽, vibing to Drake 🎧, watching reality TV 📺, true crime 🔍, and catching NBA/NFL games 🏀🏈. Her snack & drink pick? Achappam paired with bhang 🍹🫓. Movie/AUX request? Dil Chahta Hai, Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe, and the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi album 🎶🔥. Hot take? “Besides chocolate, most sweet stuff is overrated” 🍫🚫. Join us for our Welcome Luncheon on Saturday, August 22nd, 12–1:30pm in Coke Commons (GBS 106). We are honored to spotlight Professor Jagdish Sheth, recipient of the Padma Bhushan award, and Mrs. Madhu Sheth, whose foundation has advanced education, wellness, and sustainability across the U.S. and India.
