This evening, a group of teachers, future teachers, support staff, university faculty and school administrators left the warmth and comfort of their homes to come together in the ERL at OU so that they could learn more about working with children that are experiencing trauma. Thumbprint Studio-Saturday Art School- welcomed over 60 artists this morning, aged Kindergarten-Grade 5. Art Education students from Oakland University, studying to become art teachers, have the opportunity to observe, teach, support, and reflect on their future teaching practice under the guidance of their university professor (Nancy Taylor) and Thumbprint Studio’s incredible master teacher and mentor, Kelley Marie. It is incredible to see these little artists exploring, discovering, and creating. Thank you, Linda Tyson,for your leadership and partnership, and bringing all our dreams to life. ❤️

Thumbprint Studio-Saturday Art School- welcomed over 60 artists this morning, aged Kindergarten-Grade 5. Art Education students from Oakland University, studying to become art teachers, have the opportunity to observe, teach, support, and reflect on their future teaching practice under the guidance of their university professor (Nancy Taylor) and Thumbprint Studio’s incredible master teacher and mentor, Kelley Marie.
