David Hinson is the R. Hugh Daniel professor of architecture at Auburn University. When he realized that his lecture course needed an overhaul, he reached out to Auburn’s center for teaching and learning, the Biggio Center, for an instructional design consultation. Shawndra Bowers is the associate director of learning experience design at the Biggio Center, where she manages a team of 40 people who support online education at Auburn. In this podcast, Derek talks with them about what motivated David to redesign his course, the big changes David and Shawndra made to the course, how the two have leveraged student feedback to continue to improve the course over time, and what its like to work with an online education unit to redesign an onsite course. LSAT Testing

The LSAT will begin in-person testing later this Summer. To take the LSAT at Auburn University, you must schedule through Prometric. There is limited seating. You can also take the LSAT at home, but we are not able to provide private rooms for the remote version. For more information about scheduling the in-person exam, please check out the link below.

Biggin Hall Elevator Outage

The elevator at Biggin Hall will be out of service until July 14, 2023. The testing center will only be accessible via stairway during this time. If you are an AU student taking an academic exam and need other testing options, please contact the Office of Accessibility at (334)844-2096.

If you are taking a professional test and need other arrangements, please contact your vendor for scheduling options.

Finals Week
Finals are upon us, so please make sure to schedule your exams ASAP. Finals week will be extremely busy, so you must choose your appointment time carefully. We cannot reschedule anyone during the week of finals. Please check your calendar before you make your appointment because you may not be able to find another time slot later.

You must arrive on time to your appointment. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early. We cannot allow anyone to test late, as this would impact other students. Make sure you bring your physical ID (Tiger card, driver's license, etc.) to your appointment. We cannot allow you to take an exam without photo ID.

We are located on the second floor of Biggin Hall in room 238.

Due to technical issues, Prometric testing is cancelled 4/10-4/11. Please reach out to Prometric for information on rescheduling. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. For GRE, Praxis, Gace: contact ETS.

Please choose your designation and course of action. Then complete and submit the form. Your submission will be forwarded to a Prometric representative.

Monday-Thursday 8:15AM-5PM (Closed 12PM-1PM)
Friday: 8AM-4PM (Closed 12PM-1PM)

We will be offering the following dates for the Residual ACT: January 12 and 26, February 9 and 23.

Spotlight: NAVLE



Biggio Testing Services offers the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) through our Prometric testing lab. The upcoming exam window is November 1- December 16. If you intend to take the NAVLE at Auburn University, make sure to make your appointment ASAP, as our seats fill up quickly. We are available for the NAVLE, Monday- Thursday.

Make sure to bring a copy (paper or electronic) of your Scheduling Permit to your appointment.
