The 2023 Beef U event is coming up, and we want to see you there! Don’t wait to sign up, registration closes October 12 and we are filling up fast!

We do encourage parents to drop their little ones off so our volunteers time is directed towards making this the best possible experience for the kids! However, if you decide to stay on site, our adult program is a great option to join in on the fun!

Registration children is $25, and $35 for adults.

Who is ready for one of the best days in the fall and is interested in the beef cattle industry? Auburn's Animal Sciences Department sure is and we hope you are too!

Looking for an educational, fun-filled day learning about the beef industry? Then, mark your calendars for November 4th!

Beef U is an educational, hands-on event that is planned, designed, and hosted by Auburn Animal Science undergraduates to introduce youth (ages 5-18) to the world of beef cattle. Participants will have the opportunity to interact and engage in different specialized stations that cover topics from pasture to plate within beef production. Some topics include health, biosecurity, cattle evaluation, identification, nutrition, reproductive management, handling, and beef cooking. Additionally, youth will have the chance to explore Auburn University’s Campus and get involved with the Department of Animal Sciences!
