Auburn University OSE This page is dedicated to the activities of the Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Group at Auburn University, a part of NIOSH's Deep South Center.

The Occupational Safety / Ergonomics and Injury Prevention Programs at Auburn University are part of the Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety, a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Education and Research Center for the past 35 years. Housed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the center offers graduate education in occupational health nursing, indus

trial hygiene, occupational safety / ergonomics, and occupational injury prevention. The center is dedicated to the protection and promotion of the health and safety of workers in the Deep South region. Research efforts are focused on the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) priorities. The Center also offers continuing education opportunities for professionals working in occupational health and safety and develops outreach programs that provide information on occupational health and safety issues to educational institutions, public agencies, businesses, workers and the general public.
