Auburn University Women's and Gender Studies Program Auburn University Women's and Gender Studies Program was founded in 1984.

It maintains and develops curriculum for UG and graduate minors, identifies new faculty for affiliation, and coordinates relevant programming with other units across campus. The Women's and Gender Studies Program, since its inception in 1984, has as its central role the teaching and the promotion of research and scholarship about women and gender across the disciplines.

Please join us in recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month next week! Partnering with Auburn University’s Generation Action, there will be poster making at Toomer’s followed by the walk to raise awareness for sexual and domestic violence. The walk begins at Toomer’s and ends at the Student Center where there will be speakers and refreshments.
