Two of our lecturers, Rachel Prado and Vanessa Falcao, recently presented their AUX 2021 project titled "Naming R or S Stereoisomers with Virtual Reality Training” at the AUX: Immersive Learning Experiences Workshop. Their project was one of six faculty projects that received grant funding from Auburn's OIT and Biggio Center in 2021.

Clay Black from the Gorden group just made history by being the first Auburn Chemistry & Biochemistry graduate student to successfully defend his Ph.D. thesis via Zoom! Congratulations Dr. Black!

If anyone is wondering why Clay is holding up a cup and saucer -- Gorden group members always receive a gift of 1960s-era uranium-glazed Fiestaware or Vaseline glass at their defense.
