Join us in congratulating India Warren, our 2026 Outstanding Student in Civil Engineering, on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉

One of India’s favorite Auburn CEE memories was touring the North End Zone renovation project at Jordan-Hare Stadium through both class visits and ASCE. Experiencing multiple phases of construction firsthand allowed her to connect concepts learned in the classroom to a real-world project and gain valuable insight into the engineering and construction process.

In Spring 2026, India graduated Summa Cum Laude with her BCE as a University Honors Scholar, and started her Master's program this summer.

After earning her MS, India plans to begin a career focused on steel design and construction before pursuing opportunities in forensic engineering and structural restoration. She is passionate about merging historical and innovative design, and looks forward to continuing her path toward professional licensure.

Congratulations to Auburn Civil & Environmental Engineering PhD student Stanton Freeman on earning ACI’s 1st Place Award for Research in Progress at the Spring 2026 American Concrete Institute Convention in Chicago!

Stanton received the top honor for his presentation, “Evaluation of a Novel Test Method for Autogenous and Total Strain of Cementitious Materials,” highlighting ongoing collaborative research between Auburn University, The University of Texas at Austin, and West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.

We are proud to see Auburn CEE graduate research making an impact on the international stage through innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.

We proudly recognize Dr. Anton Schindler, who helped establish our ACI Student Chapter and has served as its advisor since 2014. With decades of service on ACI technical and leadership committees—and honors including ACI Fellow, the Delmar L. Bloem Distinguished Service Award, the Building the Future Award, and multiple Wason Medals—this dedicated scholar has now been selected to serve as ACI Vice President. A remarkable journey of impact, innovation, and service in the concrete community.

Congratulations Carolina Triboni on receiving the prestigious American Concrete Institute Foundation Presidential Fellowship for 2026-27!

This incredible honor recognizes outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to the future of the concrete industry.

Carolina is currently pursuing her Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering within the Structures group under the advisement of Dr. Robert Barnes.

Congratulations to Yury Morales for receiving the Rebecca Roden Award! This Graduate School Award recognizes an Auburn staff member for their excellence to graduate education.
