Like mother like daughter!👯‍♀️💚 Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing mothers! Today we are going to hear from our sweet KD mother daughter duo Ali and Stirling Wilson!

“Growing up, I always heard so many stories from my mom about her time as a KD, and from early on I knew I hoped to find a sisterhood just as special one day. As I went through recruitment, I made a point to keep an open mind and truly experience everything for myself. The moment I left the KD house, I felt so loved, welcomed, supported, and genuinely seen—I could truly see myself in KD. My mom has always been my biggest role model and supporter, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without her. We’re so alike, and I am incredibly lucky to have her. The qualities I admire most in her are the same ones I see in the sisters I’ve met in KD, which makes this experience even more meaningful and something that I will cherish forever!”💚💚💚

This week’s with our Vice President!

Hey y’all!! I’m Jessie Phillips and I have the privilege of serving as KD’s Vice President this year!!

It is seriously such an honor to serve this chapter, especially alongside these amazing girls! I am so insanely thankful for the way KD has given me friendships that constantly point me back to the Lord - girls who encourage me, pray for me, and walk with me through every season. Beyond that, these girls give me so much joy - the kind I didn’t even know I was missing. I didn’t realize how much I needed friends who keep me laughing constantly until I got to KD, and now I can’t imagine life without it.

This chapter has given me more than I ever could’ve asked for. I’ve been poured into in so many ways, and getting to serve as VP is just a small way for me to pour that same love back out. Being able to serve girls who mean the world to me is something I’m incredibly thankful for.

Council has also been such a sweet gift. It’s given me the chance to grow even closer to some of the most genuine, selfless, and funny girls I know. They make me love KD more every single day! I am so grateful for this sisterhood and the way it’s shaped my life. I truly love KD and feel so blessed to get to serve it.

For our first with our VP Events and Programming💚💚💚

Hey!!! I’m Burkley and I can’t wait to tell you the heart behind what inspired me to serve as VP Events and Programming for KD!

This is a sisterhood that will love wholeheartedly, encourage intentionally, and be your constant through every change of the college life. It is a community grounded in authentic and effortless friendships. A sisterhood of women who are truly down to earth and naturally hilarious, making every conversation feel genuine. I can confidently walk up to anyone in the chapter and feel immediately at ease and truly seen.

Friendships that are the kind of answered prayers you get to live in, and every day with them brings new bliss! There’s a unique kind of joy in having people who bring constant laughter one minute and having heart to heart conversations the next. A true Proverbs 27:9 friendship! “Sweet friendships refresh the soul and awaken our hearts with joy, for good friends are like the anointing oil that yields the fragrant incense of God’s presence.” The Lord wrote KD into my story and filled it with forever best friends!

I could speak endlessly about what Kappa Delta means to me, but what makes our chapter special is that every member feels the same pride and gratitude. That shared love creates an environment that is welcoming, full of laughter and deeply supportive. Being a part of Kappa Delta is a blessing I will never take for granted, and a gift that I am lucky enough to experience! ☘️
