Facilities' Landscape Services recently pruned and trimmed the Samford Park descendants of the original Toomer's Corner oaks.
The descendants were planted in Samford Park in 2016 as 15-foot oak trees, grown from acorns collected from the original oaks in 2002.
The now 24-year-old trees are under the purview of University Arborist Alex Hedgepath, arborist and field supervisor Dalton Sconyers, and arbor specialists Andy Mora and Wesley Farrow. Thank you, gentlemen!
