Two exciting research opportunities!

In May, 14 undergraduate students traveled to Ireland and Scotland to study abroad for speech-language pathology. Their itinerary included cultural visits to castles, natural landmarks, museums, and more! Academic site visits included charities, Talking Mats, and a meeting with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists’s Head of Scotland, Glenn Carter. Calling all SLPs: Research Survey Opportunity

My name is Annabelle Lacy, and I am a graduate speech-language pathology student at Auburn University working on my graduate thesis with Dr. Mary Sandage.

I invite all speech-language pathologists to participate in a survey investigating SLPs’ prior course instruction in muscle physiology and exercise science principles as well as implicit and explicit understanding of these topics. Discovering SLPs’ knowledge and application of muscle physiology and exercise science principles will help inform future training materials.
