Center for Career Readiness & Internship Programs The Center for Career Readiness seeks to educate students in all phases of their career development Walk-In Hours:
Monday - Friday, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

The Center for Career Readiness is located on the top floor of Edwards Student Center

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Core Values

We provide skill building and networking opportunities for students to engage in lifelong professional development. Professional development requires the ability to communicate effectively, to collaborate, to build and sustain professional relationships

based on respect, to engage effectively in multicultural teams, to use technology efficiently, to problem solve, to assume professional leadership roles in the workplace, to identify future options, and to build the skills and knowledge to flourish in a changing job market. The Career Center builds relationships with employers and provides support for faculty and parents as we partner in the career development success of their students. Student Learning Outcomes

Students who utilize Career Services will be able to successfully:
• Identify strengths and interests and match these to a compatible career path

• Develop realistic career and professional goals

• Explore possible life and career options through a variety of venues

• Learn and utilize competitive job search skills to secure a meaningful position

• Build and sustain professional relationships and networks

• Translate acquired knowledge to employment skills or graduate school success

Dear students,

During the week of April 11th, two researchers from the Center of Inquiry at Wabash College will be visiting Lasell to conduct a series of focus groups throughout the community. They will be gathering qualitative data related to the Career Readiness through Connected Learning Project, which is in its second year of funding from the Davis Educational Foundation.

If you are interested in volunteering to offer your voice and thoughts, then please consider signing-up for one of the following student focus groups:

• Seniors ONLY
• Tuesday, April 12th, 12:30-1:30pm in Stoller (lunch will be provided)
• 8-10 volunteers needed
• Sophomores & Juniors ONLY
• Monday, April 11th, 12-1pm in Stoller (lunch will be provided)
• 8-10 volunteers needed
• First Years ONLY
• Wednesday, April 13th, 12-1pm in Stoller (lunch will be provided)
• 8-10 volunteers needed
• Lasell Works ONLY (all years included)
• Monday, April 11th, 4-5pm via Zoom (details will be provided)
• 6-8 volunteers needed
• Any and All Students
• Tuesday, April 12th, 9:30-10:30am in Stoller (pastries provided)
• 8-10 volunteers needed
