We are excited to officially introduce Brent McMillian as our new Director of Athletics during a press conference on Monday, June 15!

As the fourth director of athletics in AU history, McMillian brings 13 years of collegiate athletics experience to Augusta University. A Greenbrier High School graduate and former AU student, he returns to the community with a vision centered on student-athlete success, community engagement and the continued growth of Jaguar Athletics.

The initiative aims to strengthen nutrition education in medical training to better equip future physicians to prevent and manage diet related chronic diseases. Through an enhanced curriculum that spans all four years of medical education, MCG continues its commitment to innovation, excellence in medical education and improving the health of communities across Georgia and beyond.
