A hearty congratulations to voice doctoral student who became Dr. Samantha Friedman yesterday upon the completion of her lecture recital “The Art Songs of Amy Marcy Beach: Evaluating the Level and Difficulty of Amy Marcy Beach’s Art Songs for Voice Instruction.”

Dr. Friedman, a student of , currently teaches at Mercer University,m. She was joined in this performance by colleagues Dr. Timothy McReynolds and Cassie Starks, and students Darnisha Callies and Rowan Carter. Bravi tutti!!
