Not everything sold at a gas station or online is safe or effective. Tianeptine, or “gas station heroin,” is marketed for cognitive and mental health support but is not FDA‑approved. It can act like an opioid, with risks of dependence, withdrawal, and overdose.

If you need mental health support, check out the Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC)
