A message from Lisa to all in NYC --- "I am thrilled to let you know that we have another TexasMedia first. This semester our Advanced Strategies class worked on national insights, strategies and integrations for American Express directly with the client and Digitas their AOR. The NYC judging panel was so happy with the work that they have invited our winning student team and me to come up to New York 5/20-5/21 and present the winning deck to agency leads and AmEx top executives at the AmEx world headquarters this Thursday. We will even have the chance to meet with the AmEx CEO!

Please join us in NYC tomorrow evening, the night before our big presentations, for a celebratory happy hour - Wednesday 5/20 - at 6:30 at Tavern 29. We will meet in the upstairs bar where we have a couple of tables reserved. Tavern 29 is on 29th Street between Park and Madison Aves. (6 Train 29th Street station is the closest Subway stop).

We would love to have as many UT alumni and friends of our department and TexasMedia join in to network with this awesome group of students and have a little fun catching up.

I really hope to see y'all soon.
Hook 'em Horns!"
