Sorority and Fraternity Life in the Office of the Dean of Students provides information and referrals to prospective and current students, Longhorn parents, faculty, staff and alumni about the sorority and fraternity community and values. Sororities, fraternities, and their councils at the University of Texas at Austin comprise 75 of the approximate 1,000 student organizations registered at the un

iversity. Over 5,200 students, or 13%, of the undergraduate population at the university are members of these Greek-letter organizations.
