Exploring Pragmatism in India

Scott Stroud, program director of media ethics at CME, dives into the untold story of pragmatism's journey to India and its connection to Bhimrao Ambedkar—anti-caste reformer, political leader, and one of the architects of the Indian Constitution.

Ambedkar’s "navayana pragmatism" reimagines democracy and social values to challenge oppression and foster unity. His ties to John Dewey highlight the global influence of pragmatism.
