You may have seen R.B. around campus, but do you know the history of the Riverbat? 🦇
The Riverbat mascot is only 13 years old, having been introduced in 2010 when our favorite Riverbat R.B. was born. While a Riverbat is a fictional creature, the values, connection, and mission that R.B. and the Riverbat mascot represents are very real, and very close to ACC’s heart. 💜

Parking permits and transit passes are back this fall. Starting Tuesday, September 5, all ACC faculty, staff, and students will need a permit to park on campus. The parking permits are digital and free for the 2023-24 academic year. Green Passes will be available starting Monday, August 14, and allow eligible faculty, staff, and students to ride Capital Metro services at no charge. https://bit.ly/3ONmHXG

The staff of Flowers in the Garden Child Development Center are calling the to prioritize funding for child care during the 88th session! They know that child care is the heart of their community and helps working families participate in the workforce. Today, our Exexutive Director had the pleasure of visiting this program to hear ideas they have for investing in child care.
