Join us on Thursday, November 30th, 12-1pm in the MEC for an info session to learn about the May Term study abroad program Latinx Identities Across the Americas. Hear from past students about what it’s like to live, learn, and explore in the oldest city in Mexico! With inclusive excursions to Mexico City and Oaxaca, this program is an introduction into the emergent research on Latinx identity and higher education, focused on the topic of masculinity as it is theorized and practiced in the US and Mexico.

Great Promise for American Indians, the nonprofit organization responsible for the Austin Powwow, will be showcasing traditional native powwow dances and speaking about the importance of each one.

Drop off donations from now until November 13th from 9am-5pm at the Gender and Sexuality Center, WCP 2.112. Accepting gently used clothes, school supplies, and houseware. XL+ clothing donations, chest binders, and other gender affirming materials encouraged.

Shifts before and day-of swap available. Duties may involve: collecting donations, carrying large donations into GSC, sorting and organizing, working event, setting up tables, take down and clean up.
