Texas Spacecraft Laboratory We are a team of undergraduate and graduate engineers at The University of Texas at Austin and we design CubeSats and NanoSats.

Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Byron Tapley who was selected to receive the 2020 John Leland Atwood award that recognizes outstanding educators in aerospace engineering! Dr. Tapley has been teaching and conducting research in the department for the past 60 years where he developed a world-renowned space academic program. He also established the UT Center for Space Research and served as the center director for 46 years and is an ASE/EM distinguished alumnus.
