Following a powerful day of classroom lectures, our 2026 MBA Global Trip cohort took to the streets of Barbados to immerse ourselves in local history and heritage!
 
Led by our guide, Claudette Levi-Farnum, we embarked on a comprehensive Heritage Tour across the island, exploring historic streets and landmarks from Bridgetown, Golden Square Freedom Village, and National Heroes Square, to Rock Hall Freedom Village. We even stopped by Rihanna’s childhood home, a perfect example of how the island’s vibrant culture shapes global icons who drive massive international and economic impact.
 
Gaining this foundational knowledge gives our future business leaders a crucial backdrop for the rest of our itinerary, allowing us to approach international business with genuine perspective, nuance, and respect. ✨ We are looking forward to the exciting learning opportunities ahead!

An incredible highlight from the Spring 2026 semester at the Huston-Tillotson University School of Business and Technology! 🚀
 
We recently wrapped up our student-led Data Structures and Algorithm Training program.💻 Over several weeks, students mastered DSA concepts via the Blind 75, tackled system design, and learned to communicate like true engineers.
 
A special thanks to SBT student and 2026 graduate Abdulwakil Abdulkadir for designing and leading this initiative. By focusing on engineering patterns over memorization, he built genuine interview confidence in his peers. 🙌
 
Congrats to all the students who put in the work and earned their certificates! 🌟

Congratulations to our SBT seniors on successfully completing their Software Engineering Showcase at Huston-Tillotson University 👏🏽💻

As a key component of the Computer Science program, students are required to design and develop full-stack applications using a programming language of their choice. This capstone experience allows them to apply the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills they have developed throughout their academic journey.

The showcase featured a wide range of innovative projects spanning industries such as healthcare, fashion, entertainment, finance, education, and agriculture, showing how their work can be applied across different industries and real-world situations.

It was inspiring to see the creativity, dedication, and technical growth reflected in each project. We are proud of our students and look forward to all they will accomplish moving forward.
