Texas Orange Jackets Orange Jackets is an honorary service and spirit organization. As the official host of UT Austin, we In 1923, we were founded as a women's honorary organization.

Orange Jackets is one of the oldest student organizations on campus. We serve as the official hosts of The University of Texas at Austin. The burnt orange vests worn by our members symbolize our tenets of service, leadership, and scholarship. Orange Jackets represent a wide variety of student organizations and colleges across campus. Our members are united by an enthusiasm to serve the University

and the Austin community through group and individual service projects. Orange Jackets also appear annually at traditional UT events including Parents' Weekend, Texas-OU Torchlight Parade, and UT Honors Day.
