The Tutoring and Learning Center of South Florida State College
The TLC labs were created to promote student success and retention by providing free tutoring and assistance to South Florida State College.
Our staff and facilities promote academic success by providing free services to all currently enrolled students at South Florida State College, students who are participating in approved programs, and alumni of the college no matter what the assignment, campus, or skill level.
To meet student demand over the years the labs have expanded their hours to full Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM operating times to offer full school year round tutoring.
In 2020 the Math and Writing labs added fully online tutoring support to begin supporting students who cannot see tutors in person so that distance no longer interferes with a student’s ability to get help.
