APU University Choir Performance stands as a defining measure of music scholarship. Students who qualify can also take advantage of scholarship opportunities.

While developing both competence and character, it also proves mastery, artistry, and professionalism. The University Choir, a premier choral ensemble in APU’s School of Music, is composed of top student musicians from the School of Music and throughout the university. Open to all students who read music and have choral experience, the University Choir performs the very best of choral literature f

rom throughout the Western canon, specializing in music written for large choirs from historical periods and the latest compositions of today. The School of Music provides a vast array of performance ensembles (auditions required), spanning several genres. As individuals within these groups mature musically, the ensembles themselves minister to countless people through local church performances and major orchestral and symphonic events. Students who participate in an APU music ensemble develop close relationships with other musicians and faculty directors/conductors, gain real-world audition and performance experience and travel across the country and throughout California performing in various venues for a wide variety of audiences.
