• Honors Band: Superior Rating (I)
• Symphonic Band: Superior Rating (I)
• Concert Band: Excellent Rating (II)

✨ 3 bands, 2 trophies, 1 plaque ✨

It was an exciting two days of UIL performances. For the first time ever, AC New took three bands to contest!

The Concert Band received an Excellent rating on stage and a Superior rating in sight-reading. The Honors and Symphonic Bands both received the prestigious Sweepstakes awards receiving Superior ratings from all judges on stage and in sight-reading! Let’s go!!

The band received plenty of productive feedback and praise:
“Engaging and exciting performance!”
“Lovely tone qualities and great confidence!”
“Nice style!”

As always, Mr. Villegas and Ms. Martinez are super proud of all the work that is done each and every day. Be proud of those ones, but most importantly—be proud of the effort that you put in to create beautiful, exciting music!
