A Big Thank You from BU!

You showed up, gave back, and proved what it means to Be Bold, and a Baker student's experience will never be the same because of it. Every dollar you gave strengthens the programs, communities, and opportunities that make Baker transformational.

THANK YOU for being the difference.

On Saturday, April 11, Baker's Delta Tau Delta fraternity celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Delta Tau Delta Keg Roll to benefit Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

Many alumni and active members were involved in rolling the keg from Gardner, KS, to the Chapter House in Baldwin City.

Best of all, they raised more than $5,500.00 for Breakthrough T1D!

Andrew Miller, Class of 2016, has experienced Baker University throughout his academic and professional journey. As an undergraduate studying biology and secondary education, he discovered his passion for education. He earned his master’s in school administration in 2024 and is now pursuing doctoral studies in PK–12 leadership at Baker.

Faculty and mentors prepared him not just for a career but for a life of service and leadership. For Andrew, Baker Day of Giving is about gratitude.

Every gift, big or small, is a way to say thank you and help future students learn, grow, and lead. Be Bold BU!

Rachel Haley, a proud 2015 alumna, credits the incredible psychology faculty for helping her discover her passions and succeed in graduate school.

Today, let's join Rachel in giving back; no amount is too big or too small. Support an academic program of your choice and help future generations of Baker students thrive. How will you be bold for BU?

Khadijah Guy, Class of 2016, reminds us how Baker’s academic opportunities, like presenting research at Dialogos (now the Scholars Symposium), helped prepare her for graduate school and beyond. This year, you can give back to the programs that made a difference for you.

No matter the amount, every gift helps shape the next generation of Wildcats. Support academics, nursing, graduate programs, or the President’s Vision Fund, find your giving area, and make your mark.

Be Bold. Give today!
