Last Sunday, the Business and Economics Department hosted a special induction ceremony celebrating three honor societies: Delta Mu Delta, Phi Beta Delta, and Omicron Delta Epsilon.

We recognized many exceptional students and the hard work that got them here. It was a great afternoon celebrating their achievements.

We also heard from our keynote speaker, Prof. Alan Salts, who shared thoughtful insights and encouragement for what comes next.

Congrats again to all of our 2026 inductees. We are so proud of you.

A big thank you to Deb North, Baker University class of 1993 and Founder and CEO of Yes! Athletics, for taking the time to speak with our students.

Deb shared what it really looks like to build something from the ground up. Her message was that It's easy to wait until you feel ready, but growth usually happens before that feeling shows up. Deb encouraged students to say YES to the scary stuff!

We are so grateful for your time and for the encouragement you gave our students.
