Hi Everyone,
There will be a Pre-Law Society meeting tomorrow at noon in PUP 206. We will be having a representative from the career center come to have a resume and internship workshop. Summer internships are very important for gaining experience in the legal field and it is equally important to have a strong resume for law school. Hope to see you all there!

Welcome back! We hope your semester is off to a great start! The first meeting of the Pre-Law society for Spring 2016 will be next Monday, February 8th at free hour.

Dr. Jeffrey Davis, our adviser and professor of Law and Political Science and UMBC, will be joining us to talk a little bit about the law school experience and his work in the field of law and academia. Due to scheduling issues, we will be meeting in Engineering room 333 We hope you can make it out!

Hello everyone!
We hope you had a wonderful break and are ready for the end of the semester! This is just a reminder that our final meeting of the semester will be tomorrow Monday, November 30th at Free Hour (12-1) in PUP 438. We will talk about new initiatives that the Pre-Law society will be taking on next semester to enhance the experience of pre-law students on campus. Come de-stress before exams and hear how the Pre-Law Society can help you in the upcoming semester. Hope to see you there!

Hello all!

This is a reminder that we will have a meeting tomorrow, Monday November 16th at Free Hour (12-1) in Public Policy 438. We will be hosing our first speaker of the year, Professor Martin Kobren. Professor Kobren holds a PhD from the University of Maryland and a JD from Georgetown University School of Law. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1983 and began work for Marriott International specializing in estate development and financial transactions. In 1993 he left Marriott to open his own law and mediation practice. In addition to teaching at UMBC, he runs a small promotional products company with his wife. Please feel free to bring a brown bag lunch!

Hello All!

If you are interested we will be having our first LSAT prep meeting tomorrow Tuesday 11/10 at 7pm in SOND 101.
Please feel free to bring any books you may have or anything of that nature or just bring yourself and a pencil. (We will be providing materials as well)

This will be a very informal session, therefore no prior LSAT training is required. If you have already taken the LSAT please feel free to drop by and offer any tips!

The meeting will probably be about an hour and you are welcome to stop by at anytime.
