Happy World Forensic Science Day!

In honor of National Forensic Science Week (September 20–26), we are highlighting the role forensic science plays in helping answer complex questions and serve our communities.

Our Forensic Medicine Master’s program prepares students through study and training in areas including forensic pathology, toxicology, anthropology, and medicolegal death investigation through collaboration with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Maryland (OCME).

During National Forensic Science Week, the Forensic Medicine Master’s program hosts its virtual info session, offers an onsite tour, spotlights our current FMED students, and pioneer of the field of forensics.

Meet Anx, the Anxiety Trashcan, now available in the School of Graduate Studies Commons. Write down a worry or negative thought, toss it in the trash, and take a moment to pause, reflect, and refocus. The Anxiety Trashcan is available through a partnership with the Student Counseling Center.
