Experiential learning is a critical part of pharmacy education, and support along the way can make a meaningful difference for students. đź’™

Through the Experiential Learning Program’s (ELP) Student Support initiative, also known as the APPE Student Travel Support Award, UMSOP awarded funding to four pharmacy students to help cover rotation-related expenses such as travel and lodging.

This support was made possible through the School’s first 48-hour giving campaign benefiting ELP, held last fall. Thanks to the generosity of 41 donors, students received assistance that helps make experiential opportunities more accessible.

These experiences prepare students for the next phase of their PharmD journey while strengthening patient care across communities.
