Video/Film, Audio Engineering (both studio/music production and live sound), Graphic Visual Design, Marketing Communications, Sports Journalism, Extended Reality, and more.

Husson Esports is hosting a Fortnite & SSBU training camp in partnership with Bangor YMCA! 👾

The camp will be running from Monday, August 17th through Friday, August 21st each day from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Learn how to train and become a pro in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Fortnite Battle Royal. This camp will also allow your child to explore careers available in esports by learning how to organize a tournament and produce and cast an esports production.

A group of Husson students are currently taking part in a class trip to Japan with faculty members Elizabeth Bland, Michael Camire, Stephanie Shayne and Belinda Wee. As part of a course focused on cultural immersion, students are exploring the country through both business and language perspectives. Prior to the trip, students researched various aspects of Japanese culture, including business, customs and history.

This experience is providing students with valuable global perspectives that they will be able to apply in their future careers.

Last week, high school students from across the state joined us on campus for Husson Alive! This event offered a wide range of hands-on workshops led by the New England School of Communications and the College of Business.

Sessions included a simulated crime scene, an extended reality display in the iEX Center, a game show-style finale where students operated video and audio for the production, and much more.
