Kappa Lambda

Kappa Lambda National Sorority located at Husson University/NESCom Kappa Lambda is a national sorority founded in 1971.

This sorority offers friendship, leadership and so much more to both Husson and NESCom students! We make great things happen in our community and especially in the lives of so many women on campus. We encourage and support our sisters to reach for their dreams, hopes, and goals by offering opportunities for leadership, personal growth, academic prosperity, and philanthropic opportunities. With a supportive alumni association and a close relationship with our brother fraternity, Kappa Delta Phi, becoming a sister will always gives you a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, support through good and bad times, and most importantly; unconditional love. What a weekend to remember! A great time was had by 25 of our beautiful active sisters, 11 awesome alumnae, our wonderful Lambda Chapter brothers and all of the Kappa Delta Phi NAS sisters and Kappa Delta Phi brothers at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, Mass! Kappa Lambda took home the Outstanding Chapter Award, the Presidents Cup and the first ever Jeanette & Paul Collette Best Display of Spirit Award! We would also like to congratulate our two Certificate of Merit Winers, Heidi Jewett and Meagan Morris! Great work this year Ladies! KTBFTR

Kappa Lambda spent Founders Day gathering the last of our letters to reach our goal for Macy's Believe Campaign. We gathered 1,070 letters, and brought them into Macy's today. Today, along with being Founders Day is National Believe Day!! On National Believe Day, for every letter brought into the store addressed to Santa, Macy's donates $2.00 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. How lucky are we to raise $2,140 for the organization that is our National Philanthropy. MTSND

We have a lot going on in the upcoming month! Tomorrow we will be hosting the first Mr. Husson Pageant in the Furman Center. On April 14, we will be hosting a 5k at Husson! Both are to raise money for our National Philanthropy, the American Cancer Society! We hope you can make the events and help us to support a great cause! :)
