Elevate Week reminded us that we cannot earn our way to God. We cannot change ourselves into new life. We must be born of the Spirit, surrender, and believe in Christ.

And this week, many students made the decision to give their lives to Christ.

What a beautiful reminder that when we surrender to Him, He begins something new in us.

From that place, we can begin to discover what He has called us to give our lives to.

Today, President Osborn welcomed the OKWU community to a new academic year with a challenge: Christian higher education is not meant to be transactional, but transformational.

Through engagement, students have the opportunity to grow in love, knowledge, discernment, character, and fruitfulness as they become more like Christ.
