UACCB is proud to partner with the White River Firefighter Training Association, the Arkansas Fire Training Academy, and area fire departments to launch Firefighter Rookie School this fall!

📆 Starting October 6, the 38-week program will provide training in Firefighter I & II, preparing the next generation of firefighters with hands-on experience, expert instruction, and the skills needed to serve their communities.

Even better? Eligible students can use the Arkansas Workforce Challenge scholarship to cover the full cost of the program. 🔥

With 17 area fire departments coming together to provide equipment, vehicles, instructors, and support, this is community partnership in action. 🚒🫶

Congratulations to the first students participating in the Batesville Collegiate Academy! 🎓✨

Through this partnership between Batesville School District and UACCB, students have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and a General Education Associate of Arts Degree at the same time and at no cost to students or their families!

We were proud to celebrate Hallie Adair, Cheyenne Barnett, Jacklyn Beecham, Amber Combs, Ethan Goines, Imagean Holly, Avery Layne, Zayleigh Mejeur, Jackson Musser, Paxton Steel, Liam Stuart and Samuel Sullins at the BCA ceremony.

The transferable degree provides a strong foundation for continuing toward a bachelor’s degree and opens the door to even more opportunities after high school. We’re excited to see where this path takes each of these students! 🖤🧡 batesville_schools
