LSU Student Government Black Caucus

LSU Student Government Black Caucus Aiming to promote the positive and successful growth and development of Black students at Louisiana State University.

With the establishment of this caucus we are combining the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Black Student Union with the legislative power of the Student Senate and the governing power of the Judicial and Executive branches. As a minority on Louisiana State University campus, Black student needs and concerns are not adequately met. This caucus will increase student’s perspective of Student Government and what the organization stands for.

The Student Involvement Fair happens today in front of the LSU Union from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Don't forget to stop by the University Relations table and say the magic words "love purple live gold" to get vintage Fall Fest swag.

The fair is an event where students can explore registered student organizations, community volunteer agencies, and other involvement opportunities at LSU. Refreshments, music, and novelties are provided.

On Friday, September 14, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., LSU will celebrate Fall Fest 2012 in the Quadrangle. An LSU tradition and the chancellor’s official “Welcome Back” to the University, Fall Fest hosts more than 8,000 students, faculty, and staff each year.
