The Iota Pi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity received its charter on April 21, 2012, and was accepted into LSU's Inferfraternity Council (IFC) on September 26 of the same year. We are the newest fraternity on LSU's campus. Facing the challenges of creating a new fraternity within the LSU Greek system has shown our Chapter that if there is no struggle, there is no progress. Our chapter has improved
a great deal since its earlier days, and we can credit that to our brotherhood. Although we've faced incredible obstacles, we're at a point in our development where we're poised for excellence. Our brotherhood, the friendship we value at its core, is what allows us to not only adapt to the problems that are expected to occur, but also moments of hardship that effect the whole community. It's the traditions and ideals we share as men that keep us resolute in nurturing our high and sacred purpose. We are bound by The Creed of Theta Chi. Among the entire international educational system we promote knowledge for all, advance the idea of a global culture, and build the character of men in the time of their lives when it is determined the role they will serve the world. The Iota Pi Chapter has excellent leadership and a vision for greatness. During our growth, our Chapter has shown initiative and extensive philanthropic endeavors. As our foundation continues to be built by overcoming problems, and new brothers and future leaders join our brotherhood, we will stay relentlessly ambitious and continue to adapt.
