Are you looking for a meaningful leadership opportunity that fits around your class schedule? Join the Integrative Community Studies (ICS) Program as an Independent Living Assistant (ILA)!

As an ILA, you'll live alongside LSU students with intellectual disabilities, supporting their growth, independence, and college experience while building genuine friendships and community.

📚 Your education comes first! ILAs are full-time LSU students who balance their academic responsibilities while providing support during key times, including mornings and late evenings when students may need guidance with routines, daily living skills, or problem-solving.

What you'll do:
✅ Support students in practicing independent living skills
✅ Foster an inclusive and supportive apartment community
✅ Encourage independence while providing mentorship and guidance
✅ Build meaningful relationships with your roommates

Qualifications:
✔️ Must be a full-time LSU student
✔️ Desire to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities
✔️ Dependable, responsible, and committed to student success
