Announcing the Summit for Adventurous Electric Guitar in the Gulf South!

March 7-8 in Baton Rouge, LA: a two-day meeting bringing together academic researchers, electronic musicians, effects builder, and gigging guitarists from across the Gulf South, with a particular emphasis on those that are doing cutting-edge work in each field.

Proposals for performances or presentations will be accepted, with a deadline of January 24, 2025. Any and all ideas are accepted, no academic affiliation necessary. We are particularly interested in proposals for:

- works for electric guitar with electronics or other technological elements

- presentations that demonstrate a creative approach to electric guitar interaction with technology
